If you’ve ever rolled on a foam roller or pressed your thumb into a sore muscle for relief, you’ve participated in myo-fascial release. Using nothing fancier than tennis balls we’ll massage the fascia lines of the body, directly affecting the nervous system, helping to ease physical tension and calm the mind. Fascia massage is a great tool for addressing chronic pain and can help break up trigger points and habitual movement patterns resulting in an expanded sense of spaciousness in the body. No experience needed, come and learn a simple technique that will leave you with a peaceful sense of embodiment.
On the longest day of the year, we gather to honor the Summer Solstice with a moving meditation: 108 Sun Salutations. This traditional practice is an opportunity to welcome the changing season with intention, clarity, and community. Through repetition, breath, and steady movement, we create space to release what no longer serves us and invite in renewed energy for the months ahead. You’ll be guided through the practice at a grounded, accessible pace with options to modify, rest, or move mindfully as needed. Whether you complete all 108 or simply participate in part, this experience is about presence, not perfection. Expect an energizing and deeply meditative practice, supportive community, and the powerful feeling that comes from moving together in rhythm. All levels are welcome. Bring water and an open mind. Practitioners are welcome to complete one Sun Salutation, all 108, or anything in between, honoring your body and practice in whatever way feels right for you that day.
This is a space to slow down and check in with what’s actually growing in your life. Through sound, stillness, and reflection, we’ll tend to your inner garden. We start with a silent tea ceremony and personal reflection. Noticing what’s blooming, what’s been asking for your attention, and what might be ready to be gently pulled up so something new can take root. Just space to sit with yourself, soften, and listen. Come as you are. Leave with a little more clarity and a little more room to grow.
It's part skill-building, part playground - where falling is half the fun and progress is always celebrated! In this encouraging and playful Handstand Workshop, we'll explore alignment, drills, and how to trust yourself as you flip your perspective. You can expect to connect with fellow students, gain insight through alignment demos and tutorials, participate in drills (including finger grip and wrist warm-ups) with plenty of rest in between! Finally, you'll practice handstand progressions and learn how to weave handstands into your own practice. All levels are welcome. A good gauge of whether this is for you: if you can hold a plank for one minute, come explore. Expect to work, laugh, fall a little, and leave with drills you can take straight into your yoga practice.
